Williams Moreton School > Curriculum > Vocational Studies Curriculum - Vocational Vocational Studies Faculties The Vocational Studies Faculty is a stimulating and interesting learning environment, which offers a variety of courses and activities. The subjects offered within this faculty are linked to a number of different vocations. They are taught by a mixture of experienced and newly qualified members of staff, some of which have vocational experience and qualifications within the career that the course is linked with. The subjects have to be selected at Key Stage 4 or Key Stage 5, they are not taught in Key Stage 3. Vocational studies are ideal for students who want to pursue careers in each of the areas below. The qualifications offered and the relevant teaching staff are outlined below: Key Stage 4: Business Administration - Btec Level 2 Certificate and Diploma COPE Level 1, 2 and Level 3 Child Development - Btec Level 2 Certificate and Diploma Health and Social Care - GCSE Public Services - Btec Level 2 Diploma Travel & Tourism - Btec Level 2 Certificate and Diploma Key Stage 5: Business Studies - A level Public Services - Btec Level 3 National Award (2010) Health and Social Care - Btec Level 2 Diploma Child Development - Btec Level 2 Diploma Due to the nature of the courses they involve the following practical elements: First Aid Course, Work Placements in Health or Child Care settings/Schools, Expeditions and Outdoor Education residentials related to Public Services together with Fitness testing and training.  Experts from each career will also deliver talks at school or the students will visit a relevant venue.
