Williams Moreton School > Curriculum Curriculum Faculties CURRICULUM OVERVIEW The school curriculum is delivered through a two week timetable. It has been designed to ensure that all students experience a wide range of educational opportunities. We are able to personalise any student’s timetable, allowing them to maximise their skills and attain their full potential. Over a two week period there are sixty 50 minute lessons. To ensure all students have the skills to be successful in modern society, there is a ‘core’ entitlement to English, Maths, Science and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in all years. ICT is increasingly used in lessons to aid learning with interactive whiteboards in many rooms and all classroom computers and mobile learning devices can be connected to the network to allow access to shared resources. The school is committed to the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda, which aims to make sure that every student is happy, healthy, feels safe, and is well prepared for life after Moreton, including the achievement of economic well-being and making a positive contribution to society. Students study Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHEE) through a comprehensive programme covered during tutor time and on regular whole-school Events Days.
